Pastor JP Snyder has accepted a new appointment at churches in Galion UMC and St. Paul’s in Ontario. He is leaving the Utica, Brandon, and Lock churches. He’ll be preaching his last services on June 1, 2025.
Kevin Bell, a new member at Brandon, has been assigned as a part-time Lay Supply Preacher to the Brandon and Lock churches. (Utica will instead be led by Kelly Rammell.) The pastor of record for advisory and sacramental purposes for all three churches is Reverend Clarence Hensel until Kevin completes the process to become a Licensed Local Pastor.
Kevin has been actively leading worship, providing music, and preaching at several area churches for many years. He is passionate about helping the congregation to grow into a closer relationship with Jesus. He strives to make his sermons relevent for everyday life and easy to understand.
Kevin will be preaching weekly at both churches. Lock UMC will continue to start worship at 9:00am. Starting June 1st, Brandon’s service time is changing to 10:30am.
