Our 2025 Easter celebration was a glorious day!
We started with a short sunrise service outside at the entrance of the township cemetary behind the church. We sang a few songs, heard a joyful Easter message, and celebrated the Lord’s Supper.
We then went inside and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet and social time together. Easter always seems to bring back friends and family that we’ve not seen for a while, so it was delightful catching up with each other!
Afterward we gathered in the sanctuary for a special Easter worship. Excerpts from the Passion story were read while symbolic items were placed on the altar railing by our youth members. Susan led two hymns from the piano, and Tim did a modern guitar rendition of the hymn “Because He Lives”. We had both a children’s and an adult Easter message. We celebrated the glory of the resurrection of Jesus, then the kids went outside for an Easter egg hunt.
He is risen! He is risen indeed!
